Celebrating 30 years of business excellence

June 2024 is a momentous time for Sciamed as it marks our 30th anniversary.

Established in 1994 to deliver barcode scanning and printing solutions to the healthcare sector, we started off our operations in Blackburn with just two members of staff and have grown to a specialist team of 19 working from our head office in Alford and sites across the UK.

We have gone from strength to strength over the years, providing healthcare systems to a cross-section of the healthcare industry, investing in our people and products to ensure we continue to deliver a high-quality service, exceeding customers’ expectations at all times.

With 30 years of experience delivering barcode, labelling and mobile computing solutions across many departments in the NHS, our industry knowledge has helped us develop new products, keeping abreast of advances in technology, offering complete inhouse solutions.

With our customer-focused approach, we work to provide specialist products that increase the accuracy of vital systems, inventory management, patient tracking and sample identification.

So, as we mark three decades in business, we would like to thank customers past and present, and our partner organisations for their continued support.

And importantly we would like to thank our team; their hard work and dedication has been an important part of our journey.
