Important Announcement

We have been advised from our label suppliers that there is currently a recognised global shortage of glassine backing paper, along with other components that is already starting to seriously affect the lead time on many labels, both paper and synthetic.

Normally, we would ask you to consider renewing your order for next year’s pre-printed labels towards the autumn, however, this year we would strongly recommend that orders are placed by the middle of August, as any later than this, we will not be able to guarantee delivery for 1st January 2022. We are also asking our customers to look at other blank labels that are business-critical to ensure stock replenishment orders are placed further in advance than you would normally do.

At present, there is no panic in the industry but we think it is prudent to make you aware of market conditions and the effect this may have on your own processes that rely heavily on a regular supply of labels. We will of course be monitoring the situation closely and look forward to hearing from you in the next couple of weeks to discuss how we work together to keep you operational.
